As a foreigner immigrated from Asia, I have seen or heard too many H-1B Visa or other worker visa scams, especially from those so called "Indian Consulting Companies".
You have to paid them large amount of money, usually thousands of dollars, as up front fee. And then you will have to pay your H-1B Visa fee. These are all illegal. The employers are supposed to take care of everything.
After you start, you will find that the companies usually do not have any projects. You will have to find a job by yourself and then give the companies 40% or more......
They will threat to remove your H-1B Visa if you do not follow whatever they asked you to do....
